Spectus Window Systems Expands Management Team

Published: 27th April 2011

Spectus Window Systems has re-organised its commercial team to strengthen its position in the market as it moves to address the increased demand across its peak trading period. Additions to the sales, marketing and product teams will ensure the leading PVC-U profile manufacturer is well placed to deliver for new and existing customers throughout 2011 and beyond. Amongst the new faces, Joanna Plane joins Spectus as marketing manager. Joanna has broad experience in delivering business to business marketing programmes in parallel industries with companies such as Chubb Locks, and has a proven track record in helping distribution partners grow in tough economic times. Joanna specialises in strategic marketing campaign planning that drives brand development, customer retention, product and business development. Chris Powell has moved within the business to become business development director. Chris will focus on adding more fabrication customers to the Spectus portfolio, along with seeking out further opportunities in custom extrusion. Peter Colclough will be joining the business development team, managing existing custom extrusion customers as well as focusing on strengthening both public and private sector commercial business development. In addition, with a growing product range and exciting developments on the horizon, Chris Ross will now focus full time on his role as Product Manager. Managing director, Adrian Ah-Chin-Kow, says: “It’s a key trading time for us and new developments at Spectus such as the ancillaries catalogue, together with new product additions including EcoSpec thermal inserts, the Spectrum range of foils, and triple glazed bead, all mean that we need to move now to increase the strength of our team in our key commercial functions. “We need to take advantage of the opportunities out there in the commercial market as well as ensuring we continue to look after our fabricator customers. Fabricators are central to our business and it’s important that we continually evolve the way in which we support them. For this reason we have also boosted our customer service and campaign team by promoting Eilidh Hudson to partnership development manager. Eilidh will oversee a team of campaign sales executives who will be generating leads for our fabricator customers whilst also managing our customer service delivery. “I’m confident that these changes to an already strong team will allow us to continue to grow the business through improved customer sales support and accelerated product development.”
